Summer Study event 2012

29 February to 2 March 2012

The Australian Alliance to Save Energy hosted the inaugural Summer Study event in Manly, Sydney from 29 February to 2 March 2012.  The event was attended by close to 300 professionals from both Australia and overseas.  Papers were presented on energy efficiency, demand management and decentralised generation.  Over the 3 days there was comprehensive discussion and debates between energy users, suppliers, regulators, consultants, contractors, government officials, academics and persons representing not-for-profit organisations. 

Margaret Sniffin, General Manager ESS, delivered a paper on “The Energy Savings Scheme – an effective model for a National Energy Savings Initiative?”

Lucas Boardman, Senior Analyst ESS, delivered a paper on “NSW Energy Savings Scheme – using the Commercial Lighting Formula and Calculation Tool”.
