IPART, as Scheme Regulator, may require an audit of the Annual Energy Savings Statement. Scheme Participants are required to have the Annual Energy Savings Statement audited unless all liable acquisitions for the year are market purchases and no exemptions are being claimed. In other circumstances an audit may not be required. Refer to the Scheme Participant Compliance Guide for further information.
If an audit is required, the Scheme Participant must engage an auditor from the Audit Services Panel and use the Audit Scope and Deed Poll provided below. The audit must be completed prior to lodging the Annual Energy Savings Statement to IPART by 30 April each year.
